The BBC reports that more than 80 people are dead due to a blizzard in Europe. Transportation has slowed to an intermittent crawl, and temperatures have dropped to -27 F . All this while the climate talks were winding down in Copenhagen. This relationship between unusually cold temperatures/blizzards and global warming rallies is known as the Al Gore Effect.
